As a commercial drone pilot, you are required to use the ROC-Light. One of the requirements for this is to complete a minidrone theory course, organised by a school recognised by EuroUSC-Benelux BV.
The theory part consists of several general subjects followed by 2 exams; a knowledge exam and an applied exam.
The following subjects must be known:
- Aviation Law,
- Aircraft General Knowledge,
- Flight Performance,
- Meteorology,
- Human Factors and Limitations,
- Communications,
- Operational Procedures,
- Navigation.
Since the first attempt in April, Bjorn Mierop Productions has been in possession of the Certificate of Completion for ROC-Light. The pass rate was 85%.
